There’s a Big Problem with Gobekli Tepe's "Simple" Hunter-Gatherers

I have a major problem with the way many people view & think about the builders of Gobekli Tepe. Referring to them as “Simple Hunter-Gatherers” or even simply “Hunter-Gatherers” is a complete disservice & oversimplification of the obviously deeply complex & sophisticated society responsible for the Tas Tepeler world. In today’s video I have a conversation with my friend Kayleigh (History with Kayleigh) who has traveled extensively throughout the Tas Tepeler realm & dedicated quite a lot of time to understanding it.

Kayleigh is a history & science communicator who researches the stone age, human evolution, and the first civilizations. You can join her on tour in Türkiye or subscribe to her YouTube channel to see more of her work: @HistoryWithKayleigh
